Don't Stray Too Far... Chapter three
The waves became more aggressive as they swam farther away from land, the dark clouds that had once gripped the laces of the sky had now dispersed, it had turned out to be a fluke.
"I think here is alright", Joshua said as they had gone quite far from the beach.
"No not yet, see the big waves over there, I want to ride them", Dimma said pointing at the waves that seemed bigger than the once Joshua had wanted to ride.
"But Raymond won't be able to see us over there",
Dimma's forehead shrunk together, she turned her back to him and began paddling further into the direction of the waves.
"Honey, don't be like that", Joshua said.
"Go meet you Butler, I know you prefer him more than me",
"That's not true", Joshua began paddling his surf board to close the gap between them.
"So now you are calling me a liar?", Dimma yelled back at him. She disliked Raymond but she hated that Joshua would always pick quarrels with her on his behalf.
"Baby, please let's go back",
"I'm not going any-", she yelled but before she could complete her words, the ocean turned red, the sky rained blood, and dark clouds returned.
"Dimma?", Joshua called.
Dimma placed a finger in the water, it was thick and warm, "Joshua!", she yelled
"Dimma!", he answered worried about the sudden change in the water, "What is this? Dimma come back".
"I.. I can't", she stammered, her legs froze, she was afraid of blood. The wave behind her grew tall as wall, the dark cloud began form once more.
"Dimma, get out of there", Joshua yelled but she still didn't move, all she could do was stare at the water rising above her. Joshua leapt into the water leaving his surf board behind, with his hands making massive strokes, he began to swim in her direction but he was barely fast enough.
'KRA-KA-KOOM!!!', a lightening bolt struck the water beside Dimma barely missing, but still tossing her over.
"Help me please!", she cried out as the blood ocean made its way into her mouth with every motion and every cry.
"I'm coming sweetheart!", Joshua yelled out, but it seemed with every stroke he made the water kept drawing backwards, still he refused to give up.
"Don't leave me!!!", she called out.
'KRA-KA-KOOM!!!', another lightening bolt dove down from the heavens, it came down in a different form than the other, one could see it shaped as a vixen riding the waves of blood, and then it struck.
"Dimma!", Joshua yelled as he finally got to her surf board, nothing was left not even the blood ocean.
"Why did you do this!!! Take me instead, take me!", Joshua yelled.
'KRA-KA-KOOM!!!', an answer came swiftly, this time it wasn't blood ocean, it was purple lightening.
Instincts sometimes are leadways!!! Wondering what held Dimma uptill the storm became worse.....
