Don't stray too far... Chapter two
"Raymond?", Joshua called out as he approached the small shed that stood not too far from the beach. It was painted with the faces of Jon Bellion, Alan Walker and Lukas Graham on the two sides and back respectively. In its front view was the image of dollar notes dropping from heaven painted on it. This was Joshua's work of art, he had always enjoyed art, he had specialized in sketch and painting.
"Yes Boss", Raymond answered dressed in a T-shirt that had a beach theme and an ash colored short, but these were not his normal suit wear. Joshua had specifically ordered him not to come in a suit even when Raymond had persisted.
"Can we have two surf boards?", Dimma requested.
Raymond turned round and took the freshly polished custom made surf board he found in the cabinet and gave it to her saying, "Here you go".
"I asked for two or are you now dumb?", she said irritated, she had never liked the idea of Joshua and Raymond having a close relationship like brothers do, she had always seen him as nothing but a Butler.
"Joshua is surfing too?", Raymond asked, he knew too well that Joshua hated partaking in stressful activities let alone sport, and would do anything to escape them even though he was good at most of them, courtesy of his father.
"Yeah he is!!!", she yelled with hostility in her tone, she reached for Joshua's hands making him nod his head in agreement.
"Okay, Okay", Raymond said putting his hand up in surrender, turning around to bring yet again another board.
"Will this do?", he asked
"Thanks", Joshua said taking the board out of Raymond's hand in order to avoid anymore arguments. Raymond have him a look that said, 'Are you sure you want to do this?'
Joshua nodded
"Be careful alright?, those black clouds are drawing closer real quick", Raymond said pointing at the sky up ahead and the dark clouds that drew closer.
"We can handle ourselves", she yelled as they ran straight to the beach.
"Don't forget the lunch thing is in less then an hour", Raymond reminded Joshua who had been dragged along by Dimma. Raymond stared at them both feeling like something could go wrong, but decided to shrug the feeling off.
"Maybe it's just the storm", he said trying to keep calm, he turned around to pick up a coconut drink, but then the sky glowed with lightening tracks, and a loud crack sounded from the position of the clouds, driving chills down his spine, causing him to drop the coconut.
"I hate storms!!!", Raymond said shaking his head in annoyance.
That's all?...Was expecting a good read.
