Where loneliness strives... Chapter two

Cresent moon

At the first sight of dawn, the creatures of the earth, the sky and the sea made great noises as they celebrated the arrival of their creator, God. It was finally time for the end of His three hundred and sixty five days cycle, and on this day the creator would commune with the deities to see to their needs. He also would send forth the angels to their familiars, so that they too may experience the joy of his creation.

"Creatures great and small of all corners of the earth, sky and sea, the supreme one has arrived" the sun announced, the sky began to open wide and as it did, a bright light shined forth from it brighter than the rays from the sun, causing all creatures to bow their heads down. Shortly after, the gates of the heavens were revealed, the trumpets were blown by angels and the gate opened up. All the angels were lined up, and one by one they dove down to the surface of the world, taking their places with the creatures.

"Honoured deities, take your Demi form so that you all can go commune with the Most High" an angel in higher rank proclaimed.

The deity took the shape of man for at that time, the beings known as man were ones close to the heart of the Supreme being, not until they committed the sacrilege of disobedience. The angels led them to the gate of heaven and then escorted them to the dinning chambers fully cover is gold.

"My Lord" they all said bowing their heads to the ground for it was not allowed of anyone to see His true form, instead He would converse with them in the form of any creature he had created.

"You may raise your heads my beautiful ones" He said majestically as he took the form of a gold maned lion.

"You honor us with your gracious and everlasting love, my lord" the earth said.

"Do not try to flatter me, I have called you here to dine and talk about the matters that troubles you and your inhabitants" He said pointing at the long table garnished with fruits of different kinds, those even the deities know nothing about.

"My king, every visit is a blessing to us, what more can we request?" the sun asked taking his seat at the table.

"Deity of light, you speak well for yourself, do not speak the minds of the others if you know nothing of what they desire" He said staring at the deity of the waters.

The sea knew the Supreme one had been all knowing, but she never did understood His ways, with a smile she bowed and said, "Oh Great and Supreme, permit me to utter words that may seem selfish to thee".

"Speak my child, for is this not a meeting for you to share your thoughts?" the supreme one asked.

"Great one, it is as you have said but I fear that I am not worthy of this great honor".

"Indeed you are, for if you are not, then who amongst the rest will be?" He asked.

"You honor me with your praises" she said blushing.

"It is well deserved".

The sea stood up from her seat and said, "My Lord, Supreme above all, Great and Wonderful, I humbly request another to fill this void that I feel in my heart", she knelt down and bowed her head to the ground.

The Supreme being smiled at her humility and said, "Before you had this thought, I had already known for I see and know all things".

The deities of the land and light both stared at each other confused, they couldn't understand the tongue being spoken by the deity of the waters and the Supreme one, as they spoke a tongue long forgotten.

"Hear ye all subjects of mine, today I decree another deity shall be born, only to be revealed after the twelfth cycles of the deity of light and he shall be known as the deity of white" the supreme being decreed in a tongue that was heard by all the creatures of the world.

"My Lord, what would we call this deity?", the sun asked.

"If I may my King?" the sea asked standing from her previous position.

"Go on dear one".

"We shall know him as the MOON, the warmth the radiates not.

"Let it be so!" He declared.
