Where loneliness strives... Chapter one
In the days before the world was given form, the earth was covered with darkness and water. The supreme being saw this and decided to give it form. He created light through the sun, and the earth which had been long covered by the sea. These beings which he created had personalities of their own, and often conversed with one another.
The sea had lived a long life in the world, swaying back and forth with tales of the world that once existed, conversing with the other two deities and yet she felt lonely. She was without a partner to call her own, the sun had been too hot headed for her and only thought of itself whenever it could, the earth was too rigid never changing it's ideologies and always wanting to be right. Both deities were not to her taste, the sun had often spent it's twelve hours cycle with the creatures of the earth, granting them warmth as he travelled. The earth cared little about her, only trying as much as he could to bring forth more trees for his residential creatures and also to avoid the sun's scorching heat. After the twelve hours cycle came darkness, which was an even lonelier time for the sea. The sky itself was black, the sun had gone elsewhere, the land was now asleep, but some of it's residents refused to do so.
The sea stared at the empty and dark sky as void as the feeling she was experiencing, "Will this be my life forever?", she asked feeling the clutches of loneliness on her heart.
"My Queen, do not worry yourself about such trivial things, you are a deity of the supreme one called God after all" a sword shark which had been passing by said.
The sea had taken up her deity form, she had mimicked the human creatures who were dear to the heart of the supreme being. She had on a water like gown, flowing from her breast down to the rest of the sea, spreading like waves.
"Does the supreme one not feel the same way?" she asked staring the shark.
"My Queen, He has higher ones with Him, just as you have creatures like me with you" the shark answered
"But my heart has always been like this even before he arrived, I have lived longer than any one of the other two" she sobbed.
The shark saw her grief and felt as if they were his own, "My Queen, the supreme being will be arriving soon for his three hundred and sixty five days circle. Perhaps, you could ask him when he comes".
Her eyes lit up with hope, she had neglected to think about this, "Thank you", she said returning to her original form, a shapeless body of water.
"I only hope your wishes are granted and your heart relieved, my Queen" the sword shark said re-embarking on his journey.
