Two minutes is takes... Chapter two

Opening door

Leo laid on his bed both half awake and half asleep in his almost empty apartment. Most of his furniture had been sold to clear off his debts, the rest available were used to keep the apartment from looking abandoned. The wall paint had peeled off due to the rain and were faded in some regions. Leo rolled over to the edge of the bed stretching forth his arm in search of his phone, in the process he spilled over the half filled glass cup which he had used the previous night to drown his sorrows.

"Jeez!" he yelled realising he had spilled it all over his lyrics. He got up from the bed picked up the blotted paper and rushed into the living room to get it cleaned.

'Knock! Knock! Knock!' the door sounded as he entered into the living room, almost as if expecting him to be there at the moment.

"Coming!" Leo shouted dropping the paper on the wooden table. He walked up to the door, undid the locks and opened widely.

"Good morning" he greeted with a warm smile, the signs of drooling still clutched to his face as his unkept hair sang songs to the heavens. Before him stood his sister and her friend who quickly looked away after seeing Leo half naked with his manhood bulging from his shorts.

"Ahan! Brother Leo!" his sister cried out pointing at the very much visible bulge.

"Oh my God!" Leo yelled embarrassed, he shut the door in their faces and quickly rushed into his room to pick up a wrapper, tied it around his waist before returning to the door.

"I am so sorry about that" he apologized.

"Brother Leo, you will never change" she said mocking him.

"What is your own Sopuru?" he asked folding his arms around his chest, this revealed his muscular and hairy body.

"Nothing oooh!".

"So how may I help you?" he asked.

"Ask us in first before you start asking any other question" Sopuruchi said upset at her brother's lack of manners especially with her friend around.

"I'm sorry but I can't let you in right now, you see my house is not in the right state to accept visitors" Leo lied.

Sopuruchi drew closer to her brother and whispered in his ear, "come brother, don't tell me you have been drinking again, what happened between you and your wife this time?".

Leo's mouth dropped down as he was shocked by her question and how easily she saw through his lie. He quickly regained his composure and said, "Nothing is wrong at all".

"Ehen! So where is my sister-in-law?" she asked not wanting to let it go.

"She went to a friend's place" Leo lied once again knowing his sister would drag him out of the house if he told her what really happened with his wife.

"Okay then, if she went to see a friend then I guess I didn't need to prepare these for you" she said pointing at the poly bag sitting on the floor.

"Let's go" she said gesturing to her friend to pick up the bag.

"Sopuruchi, why are you leaving without fulfilling your mission here, plus you have not even introduced your friend yet" Leo objected after a series of rumbling sounds from his stomach.

"Brother this one is not for you again, besides your wife should have cooked something before going to her friend's place na" Sopuruchi said knowing her brother too well, especially when he was hiding something important and always knew how to get him to talk.

Leo eventually gave up and came completely clean saying, "the truth is that she has finally left me because I didn't have anything else to offer her and yes,  I have been drinking too".

"I knew it!" Sopuruchi said.

"You knew what exactly?" he asked.

"That she wasn't the one for you, thank God you guys didn't have kids if not it would have been a totally different story now" Sopuruchi answered.

"Don't talk like that now" Leo pleaded.

"What concerns me? After all I am not the one that forced you to jump into marriage with that witch last year" she said.

"Come Sopuru! What is your problem? I am still your elder brother oooh!" Leo reminded her.

"Only by one year, anyway this is my friend and course mate, Chidalu." Sopuruchi said pushing her friend forward.

Leo ignored her comment and smiled at Chidalu who had become too uncomfortable and also upset from being left out of their conversation for too long. Her dark skin and wonderful physique caught Leo's eye almost like a divine calling, but that was not what he needed at the moment.

"How are you?" he asked stretching forth his hand which was well received by her.
